Accessibility Statement

Transcamion Schiffahrtsagentur GmbH is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council (European Accessibility Act).

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The following content is not yet fully accessible:

  • The interactive map on the homepage (Google Maps) has limited screen reader support. A fully accessible placeholder is displayed without consent to marketing cookies.
  • Some embedded third-party content (e.g. Intercom chat) is not fully within our control regarding accessibility.
  • PDF documents may not be fully accessible.

Measures to Improve Accessibility

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website. The following measures have already been implemented:

  • Semantic HTML structure for all content with correct heading hierarchy
  • WCAG AA compliant colour contrasts (minimum 4.5:1 ratio for text)
  • Accessible form elements with associated labels and ARIA attributes
  • Alternative text for all informative images
  • Responsive design for various devices and screen sizes
  • Keyboard navigation for essential functions
  • Skip navigation and logical tab order
  • Cookie consent banner with fully accessible controls
